Ponderings of Grace - Seventh Sunday of Easter

Righteous Father, the world does not know you, but I know you.

And they know that you sent me...

I will make it known, that the love with which you loved me may be

in them and I in them. John 17:20 - 26

For me this passage always holds an opportunity for contemplative intimacy.

The "oneness" and "interdependence" of the Father and Son in each other and for Earth wraps me in their heartfelt and passionate love for myself and Earth.

Enjoy spending time allowing Jesus to take you to his prayer as well as allowing yourself to enter into a contemplative relationship with Jesus.

      • How does it feel for you to eavesdrop on Jesus' intimate prayer for you?
      • How "one" and "interdependent" are you with Jesus?
      • What opportunities do you have in your daily life to birth this "oneness" with other people with Earth?

Perhaps you may want to end your time of contemplation with a gesture of NAMASTE.
