Mary - present to the moment of the call

Willing - yet reluctant --
so many consequences
to this simple word yes .

Yet, yes you gave
scared - I'm sure
wondering -- I know
pondering -- I'm certain.

Open to stepping forward
leaving the safe behind
venturing to the unknown
hope leading the way
birthing a new age.

Courageous to the core
your yes changed the course of humanity
giving rise to a new heaven and a new earth,
where God's justice would reside.

Breathe in me your yes.

Yes - to trust
Yes - to hope
Yes - to love!
