Ponderings of Grace - Holy Thursday

1 Corinthians 11: 23 - 26

A festival meal with friends is a time for rejoicing and sharing. Little did Jesus's friends know that they were attending the most remarkable meal in the history of humankind.

Just as the loaves and fishes fed thousands to their fullness, Jesus's life in the Eucharist has fed thousands for centuries, pressed down and overflowing.

The world known to the apostles was about to change forever. How does Eucharist change
your world?

John 13: 1 - 15

When was the last time you went to a friend's for dinner and the host washed your feet?

Although that may be a stretch, Jesus showed us the importance of any task done with love.
Peter showed us the importance of accepting what Jesus was doing for him.

We are mindful of Jesus's words "do as I have done to you" when serving others. Be also
mindful of Peter's acceptance and be open to what Jesus wants to give you today.
