FEAST OF MARY, MOTHER OF GOD

Luke 2: 16-21

 

I'm wondering how Mary felt when she heard the shepherds tell of the visit they had with Gabriel and the heavenly hosts?  

"A savior had been born to you...he is Christ the Lord...
Glory to God in the highest...on earth peace to those he favors."

 

I wonder if Mary asked Joseph if he heard it too.

Did she think, “OMG it's really happening!?”  

Did she remember the first visit of the angel telling her "Do not be afraid?"
